We took Noah to the zoo this evening to check out the critters. It was pretty hot, but as soon as
we got there, the sun went behind the clouds and the temp really dropped. We got to see bears and
penguins and all kinds of fun stuff. He LOVED it and kept asking for more as we moved between
animals. I think we’ll do that one again sometime soon.

Noah got bit again. Can you believe it? The good news is that the new daycare handled things
EXACTLY like we want them to. They took ownership, called us, kept us informed, they were really
great. And it was such a minor bite, it didn’t even leave a mark. We are so happy that we switched
Noah, it just makes us sleep easier.
Not to mention he loves it there. We get there and he plays and doesn’t cry when we leave. When we
pick him up, he runs to us and drags us inside to show us what he is playing with. God we feel so
much better about this daycare.
My workout is going awesome. I’ve dropped 4.5lbs of body fat and gained 3lbs of muscle. I put 1.5
inches on each of my quads and have REALLY improved my strength. The biggest gains have been in my
cardio. Jessi is working out too and using some of the same tools that I am. It’s a lot of fun
doing this together. More couple time 
Gas is up to $3.07 a gallon today. We did some quick math and I would be spending Well over $300 a
month on gas, just for my truck if we were still in KC. Between the two of us, it would be over
$500. Nuts man, just crazy.

The last couple of days, St Louis has been pounded by some pretty nasty storms. 570,000 people
have been without power since Wednesday and guess what, we got to be in that number. We had power a
little sooner then most, but still had to get rid of all of our fridge food and go stay at Jessi’s
parent’s house. Life is an adventure for sure
