It comes in threes

Posted under Lost thoughts

Wow, wow and wow.  Jessi just got a call from a place that she really wanted to work for, and had
taken a position as an as-needed substitute, with a full time teaching position! She’ll be brining
in a lot more money and won’t have any real travel to worry about. Plus, it’s full time, salary and
she has a teachers 9 month schedule. w00t!  So we are celebrating here BIG TIME! We just can’t
believe how things have fallen together. It’s like all of a sudden all the work and planning just
paid off. Really amazing feeling, very reaffirming that we made the right choice in moving. We are
getting into a great house at a great price, excellent location, AAA rated schools, Jessi has the
job she has been wanting, I’m loving my work. Damn life is good!

Happy Birthday Grandma Jo

Posted under Lost thoughts

We went to Columbia this weekend for Grandmas’s Birthday and had a great time! Noah and Will got to
play together and Noah got to ride on a a power wheels for the first time. Pretty soon he was
driving it and as happy as he could be. Which is good because he’s cutting two molars right now and
if he isn’t distracted, he’s very unhappy.

On another note, Jessi had her first day at work today and seemed very pleased. So we decided after
she got home to go look around at some more houses. We ended up buying one! Got a crazy good deal
on a house just being built that was supposed to be an inventory home. Got 50% off all of the
extras that they put in and ended up cutting around $30,000 off the price of the house. We
are so excited, it has everything we want and some stuff we didn’t think we could afford. All Oak
cabinetry, Master bedroom and laundry on the main floor, a loft upstairs between the two very large
bedrooms and a full, walkout basement! We are SO excited! We are looking to move in the first part
of October!

Jessi has not one, but TWO jobs! One with a company called PEG and another with the special school
district.  So a house hunting we go!
