Couple of major updates in the Clark household as of late. The first, and saddest, is that we lost Charlie King early this year. We’re very thankful that he and Noah got to know each other and are sad that Inara won’t get the same chance. We weren’t able to make it to the services because they fell on Noah’s birthday, but understand that they were lovely. Which brings us to the next event. Noah’s 5th Birthday! We expected roughly 6 to 8 kids to show up to his party at Monkey Joes and were graced with 19 4 and 5 year olds hopped up on cup cakes, slushies and pizza. It was a great time and lead to an even greater nap afterward. The 5th birthday party triggered the remodeling of the monkey room into a big boys room. Noah and Jessi spent the weekend over at Grandma and Grandpa Saiters house while I painted, trimmed and taped. When the weekend was done, we were left with a very pink nursery and a very blue big boys room! We then had a local artist that we know come over and work her magic on the walls. Noah got a Scooby Doo theme and we hung the moon that Aunt and Uncle Mangan got him for his birthday on the wall to complete the scene. Enjoy the pictures!  And last but not least, I got my first pair of kidney stones. Yeah. Good time those things.  I would describe it as an angry, intoxicated badger humping a porcupine in your lower back. Then post coitus , rolling his way down to your nether regions and using them as a scratching post.  On the plus side, if you can hold your pee long enough I’m fairly certain that you could piss yourself a new driveway, so that’s nice for you landscapers. I’ll stick to computers I think.
