I’ve been debating on buying a new lens for my camera for a couple of years now. Not just any lens, the much loved 70-200 f/2.8 (translation, giant heavy lens that costs a lot of money but is very, very nice) but it’s been way out of my price range. But this week, creve coure camera had it on sale for almost $1000 off and they had one in stock. I bought it. I sold my original zoom lens and put down a lot of money, regretting it instantly. Holy crap what have I done, this thing is for pros! I don’t need this, it’s too heavy, it doesn’t fit in any bag that I have, I should return it. Then I went to the park at work to give it a try and this was the very first shot I took with it. The subject is boring as hell, but I’ll be keeping this lens.
